Lower Dutson Farm Open for 12 Months of the Year and Also Offering Short Breaks for your Pet Friendly Holidays in Cornwall.

 
Lower Dutson Farm is situated on a traditional family run farm and comprises of 180 acres with cattle and sheep roaming the fields, bordered by The River Tamar. We have two cottages, Swallows and Meadow Cottage, both of which are family friendly. Meadow Cottage welcomes pets by arrangement. However pets are not allowed at Swallows Cottage. We also have a pet friendly caravan park at Lower Dutson Farm.
 
 
Guests are welcome to stroll through the fields and our pretty coarse fishing lake and stretch of The River Tamar, where you can might spot a kingfisher, heron, buzzard or deer. When staying with us, you can also fish for salmon/trout along the river Tamar or try your skill at coarse fishing.
 
Play fetch with Shep our family sheepdog and meet our two puppies which are just under two months old. The two cottages are ideally located to explore Dartmoor and the Cornish moors as well as the sandy beaches and harbours of Devon and Cornwall.
You can pick up all the local produce you need from Homeleigh Garden Centre only 400 yards up the road or why not get up late one day and enjoy an all day breakfast there too.
 
Lower Dutson Farm overlooks our pretty sheltered lake with an abundance of wildlife.Fishing on the lake and the river Tamar is available (special rate for CL members).
 
Meadow Cottage is a dogs allowed cottage in Cornwall at Lower Dutson Farm in Launceston, Cornwall. Meadow Cottage at Lower Dutson Farm benefits from views of our fields and the surrouding countryside as well as Dartmoor on a clear day. A gate leads into the meadow where guests are free to wander around the farm with it's lake and riverside walks. In spring time there are often baby lambs skipping right outside the window. Meadow cottage is also the first and last cottage in Cornwall on the A388. 
 
Meadow cottage is a pet friendly cottage in Cornwall that offers spacious accommodation with a new fitted kitchen/dining area. It has an electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher,TV with freeview and separate utility room with washing machine and small tumble dryer. The cottage offers a snooker room along with board games, other toys and a spare TV with freeview to keep you and children entertained on the occasional rainy day! The sitting room offers a woodburner for guests to keep warm if they are with us over Winter or Autumn. Logs are available from the farm or gather your own from our woodland. The sitting room has second TV with freeview.

 

Upstairs are a double room, a family room (one double and bunk beds) and a twin room. There is an upstairs bathroom with an overhead shower and bath and a downstairs bathroom with a shower. 

 

There is ample parking outside the cottage and garden furniture and barbecue to enjoy the sunshine right by the meadow. Meadow Cottage also has an outside privvy to store surfboards or fishing tackle. Fishing on the lake or on the river Tamar is free for two persons staying at the cottage. Pet dogs are welcome by arrangement at £20 per dog. Electricity is by £1 meter (night storage heating free).
