Both properties are listed as "buildings of special architectural and historic interest".
Wolsingham is an old country town, situated in the lower part of Weardale which is one of the North Pennine Dales. The North Pennines have been designated as an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty". Wolsingham is ideally situated for exploring the region's attractions.
