We at Bensington Pets hope to build our online store from its humble beginnings to a major competitor in the pet supply industry. Our experience of Pet and Equine products has come from the consumer side through our love of animals and animal husbandry. Between us we have many years of experience keeping and caring for small and large animals with our main passion being horses. We have owned a variety of animals from dogs, cats, and horses to more exotic animals like snakes, lizards and fish.

Our experience with animals includes a Diploma in animal care and husbandry, experience managing riding stables, dog handler and trainer for the army, veterinary nursing, caring for exotic small and large animals in zoos and breeding and showing horses. We currently own three horses, but also care for around twenty horses at a time at an Equine Retirement Yard in Wales.

Through our ownership at Bensington Pet Supplies UK and experience of horse care we have extensive knowledge and experience of many products from fly repellents to saddles this has provided us with a vast knowledge of what products are good, bad, what works and what is just a waste of money. Having used many products that have left us feeling disappointed it has spurred us into opening our shop to share the great products that are on the market today.

Bensington Pets hope to expand on our product range week by week bringing you a wide range of quality products that we can confidently say we would recommend and use ourselves.

 We aim to buy our UK Pet Products direct from the manufacture and have already built a large contact list so that we can bring you the greatest products at the best possible prices. We know how difficult it can be to find time to shop for our pets due to this we have always liked to utilise the internet and shop wherever possible online, thus saving time, enabling you to find the best deals, having the advantage of browsing a wider range offering much more choice and all from the comfort of your own home.

We are going to use this experience to design a web site that is fun to use and easy to navigate. We welcome all comments and suggestions.
